Obama, where is your support now?

Thousands of Israelis rallied in Rabin Square in Tel Aviv on Sunday night in support of three kidnapped teenagers.

Yet one person - who claims to be the most pro-Israel President evah - continues to remain silent.

Barack Hussein Obama, where are you?

More here.

Watch! Vehi She'amda from the rally last night (via The Muqata https://www.facebook.com/Muqata). This music and the text are soooo calming. I can't hear it enough!

And this (Hashem’s blessings and the Torah) is what kept our fathers and what keeps us surviving. For, not only one arose and tried to destroy us, rather in every generation they try to destroy us, and Hashem saves us from their hands.

"Most pro-Israel president ever"? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!

If I remember correctly, although Truman recognized the State of Israel, his policy was lukewarm at best. Eisenhower was responsible for stopping the Sinai Campaign (although he later regretted preventing Israel from accomplishing its goals there). Kennedy and Johnson were better, although relations couldn't be described as warm. I think it may have been better with Nixon (especially with him urging sending material to Israel during the Yom Kippur War) and Ford. I don't think we need to comment on Carter. Reagan seemed to be the most pro-Israel president up to that time; George H.W. Bush was probably considered hostile. Clinton was definitely pro-Israel, but I think George W. Bush was the most pro-Israel of the group (at least he saw the situation more realistically than the others).

I encourage more comment about this, since this is off the top of my head and what I gathered.

I had no illusions about Obama, and his being free to do whatever he wanted after being re-elected seems to be coming true. Sad that so many people don't see that.
